Corporate sites for Ailos and its cooperative banks

UI Design

In 2019, I worked as UI designer in the development of 14 institutional websites for Ailos and its credit unions. The project was part of the brand reformulation process, in which Cecred changed its name to Ailos, also updating its visual and language standards.

The visual direction of the sites was all based on the new brand book. In this way, the challenge was to create a consistent design, aligned with the new moment of the company, that also, would be scalable to the other products of its digital ecosystem.

A key point in the development of this project was to define a design method that would allow more efficiency when designing and implementing the interfaces of the websites. In this perspective, in order to develop the largest number of pages with the least possible effort, the concept of Atomic Design was applied.

First, we mapped and designed essential pages from the sitemap. Once approved, those components generated inputs for a solid style guide, that guided the development of customizable widgets by the development team. The result: a library of manageable components in Elementor.

So, in addition to providing greater efficiency in the development of the project, it has also allowed that, until today, new pages are created for the website by the Ailos marketing team, making internal processes easier and independent.

Also in 2019, alongside the website project, we developed an internal communication platform. The goal was to integrate Ailos employees and their cooperatives, in addition to facilitate internal communication, alerts and employee engagement with brand actions.

Although the project was being developed for the same client, the teams responsible for it internally were different. At this point, we identified that it would be crucial to establish a digital design standard for the brand, allowing to expand the Style Guide of the websites project to other areas of Ailos digital communication. As I was in charge of both projects, I managed to ensure that the previously established guidelines were followed successfully.

The positive result ended up opening opportunities for several other digital projects within Ailos, making A2C (today Brivia) its main communication agency.
